Don’t worry. The title is a nod to Akira Kurosawa’s film of the same name. The film opened and closed in a shroud of mist. I find the fog comforting, and almost dream-like. It keeps distractions in shadow and allows for a more compelling minimalist feel. This silence of the city deepened the mysterious and ambiguous feeling evoked by the heavy fog.
