I stopped by The Book Cellar in Lincoln Square Plaza, Chicago to see Maddie and pick up a signed book by her and Theron Humphrey. Maddie has been an internet sensation for a while now as her and Theron have traveled the U.S. visiting fellow pet rescues on a photojournalism project. It was a pleasure meeting them and sharing a little conversation with Theron. Maddie was simply fixated on getting a bite of the personalized cake that was being served and passed around. But with a promise of a treat and a gentle “hold” from Theron, she froze with utmost self control. She does love those treats.
