This was the last day of the 3 day festival. I was pretty excited to have the chance to go up in a hot air balloon for the first time. Unfortunately, the winds were too strong and they had to cancel the trips up. I think the best time to do this is in the morning. They begin at 5am and end at 9am. They do the balloon glow event at night, but they never took off.

The carnival area changes dramatically when the sun goes down. Everything glows and a younger crowd appears. And the smell of popcorn and funnel cakes just add to the awesomeness.
